KARACHI: The city police have rounded up three accused from Landhi area here in connection with the firing on convoy of Sindh Local Bodies Minister Owais Muzaffar.
It may be recalled that the Minister was traveling with a convoy in Sharafi Goth last Sunday for carrying out a crackdown on illegal hydrants when they faced resistance, as fires were shot in the air.
In a police raid, three accused including the owner of the hydrant were taken into custody, sources said. Those names of the arrested accused are: Abdul Sattar, Kamran and Saeed.
