Army Chief calls on PM Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaque Pervez Kayani and Director General, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Zahirul Islam called on the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the PM House on Tuesday here,

Sources said that the strategy relating to talks with Taliban and the overall security situation of the country being discussed and deliberated in this underway meeting between the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, COAS and DG ISI.

Besides regional issues including matters pertaining to upcoming visit of the prime minister to US also on the agenda of this meeting in progress, sources said.
