LAHORE:
Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday in its interim order said that the
rules and guidelines relating to demarcation should be kept in view and
the law should be strictly adhered in the demarcation of constituencies,
While hearing the case against
the holding of non-party Local bodies elections in Punjab, the court in
its interim order directed the officers engaged in demarcation of
constituencies to act strictly according to law and do not succumb to
any pressure.
Later, the court adjourned the hearing until October 24.
