ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain‚ on the Advice of Prime Minister‚ has promulgated Protection of Pakistan Ordinance.
The ordinance maintains that writ of the state will be established at all costs and the elements spreading terror and fear will be considered as enemies of the state.
The draft of the ordinance stated that immediate and strict action would be ensured against the enemies under the state laws.
Joint probe teams consisting of security agencies and law enforcement agencies personnel would be set up to investigate the matters relating to terrorism and crimes.
