KSE ends a rangebound session on a flat note




KARACHI: Pakistan's apex bourse, Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE), ended a rangebound session on a flat note here on Friday.

The benchmark KSE-100 Index jumped 0.27 percent, or 63.39 points, to 23,847.57.

The countrywide protest against Rawlpindi tragedy kept the capital market on a tight leash, the dealers said.

On the rollover day Engro Corporation and Pakistan State Oil (PSO) saw some fresh buying.

Engro was up by 0.69 percent to Rs144.52, whereas PSO 2.02 percent to close at Rs312.99.
