PESHAWAR: As the roof of an under-construction building at Jamil Chowk collapsed, scores of persons feared to have been buried under the debris on Sunday morning here, Geo News reported.
Rescue sources said that 20 persons sustaining minor injuries were immediately retrieved from beneath the huge debris of the roof of an under-construction building that caved in near Jamil Chowk this morning.
It is feared that some more persons still lying buried under the debris and an operation to rescue them is underway by removing the debris on war-footing, sources said.
