ISLAMABAD: Coordinator of the committee constituted by the government to hold peace talks with Taliban, Irfan Siddiqui told that the Taliban negotiating team has not yet apprised the about the meeting, however, the government team is willing to hold dialogue any time, Geo News reported Friday.
While talking to Geo News, Irfan Siddiqui told that a letter has been sent to the Taliban committee and it is likely that they would respond to it in the expected meeting.
He further told that the mediators from the Taliban side have to inform the government committee about the time of the meeting.
Irfan Siddiqui said that only Taliban committee will disclose the matters that would come under discussion during the meeting.
