Patwari booked for fraud
MANSEHRA: The Anti-Corruption Establishment, Mansehra, has booked a patwari, who allegedly transferred a commercial piece of land instead of a domestic one after receiving bribe, an official said on Friday. Mohammad Sohail, circle in-charge, told reporters that one Mohammad Iftikhar had submitted an application for the registering a case against Patwari Mohammad Raza.
He said the applicant had stated that he had sold a domestic piece of land, but the patwari transferred his commercial land in the name of the buyer causing him a loss of Rs20 million. Mohammad Sohail said that a team of the establishment probed the matter and found the patwari guilty. He said a case was registered against the accused and raids were being conducted to arrest him.
