Astonished over ODI team snub
DUBAI: Pakistan’s star batsmen and former skipper, Younis Khan has expressed his astonishment over the decision to not include him in the ODI squad for the series against South Africa.
Speaking to reporters here on Monday, Younis Khan dispelled rumours that he was not interested in playing ODI cricket. “A player's form and fitness is more important than age.”
Commenting on the upcoming test match, Khan said they (Pakistan) wanted to win the series 2-0. He praised South Africa but added that the Proteas would miss Hashim Amla.
