KARACHI: Rangers continued targeted operation in Lyari areas and held several persons while exchange of fire also took place, Saturday.
According to the sources, Rangers personnel cordoned off Phool Pati area of Lyari to kick off the raid, but some miscreants opened fire on them. The Rangers men also retaliated and opened fire on them that triggered panic and fear in among the residents.
A Rangers’ man was injured when exchange of fire took place last night.
During the operation, several suspects were rounded up by the security forces.
