Nawaz says talks with Obama positive
WASHINGTON: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that his meeting with President Obama was positive in which they discussed various issues ranging from drone attacks, Dr Afia Siddique, Shakil Afridi, Pakistan's relations with India, energy crisis to bilateral trade ties and Afghanistan.
Talking to media, after his meeting with Obama, Sharif reiterated that Pakistan needed to put its house in order. He said that issue of Mumbai attacks, Jamaatu Dawa and cross border terrorism also came under discussion.
The prime minister said that he invited US investors to work on energy projects in Pakistan to help the country overcome energy crisis. He said that there were great opportunities of investment in Pakistan’s energy sector. Sharif said that the US president assured him of his support for cooperation.
