Islamabad: Scientist and researches appreciated the role of National Centre for Physics (NCP) for creating science culture in Pakistan and hosting five-day ‘First ICTP-NCP International College on Plasma Physics’. More than 15 foreigners and 100 local researchers are participating in the event.
While talking to ‘The News’ Dr. S M Mahajan from USA appreciated the role of NCP for promoting science in the country. He said Pakistani students actively participating in the colleges have plenty of questions about their work which shows they really want to do something for their country.
He said, “I am surprised to see the large number of female students participating in the college and this shows that there are equal opportunities for females in Pakistan.” Dr. S M Mahajan said that although NCP is working good but there is need to create more institutions of this type.
Dr Nasr Abdullah from Egypt and Dr. Adreev said, “All the participants are active and have new ideas which they are sharing with us on this plate form,” they added. A group of students from Faisalabad, while talking to ‘The News’ said such type of activities always helps the
