PESHAWAR: Bomb Disposal Unit (BDU) in-charge and three other members were killed in a blast at Sheikh Mohammadi in the outskirt here on Monday.
BDU in-charge Abdul Haque and other personnel of his team were on their way to investigate a bomb blast which took place in the Badaber area, when a roadside planted bomb near Sheikh Mohammadi went off and destroyed their vehicle.
The blast resulted in the death of four personnel on board the vehicle including the BDU in-charge Abdul Huque while two others were injured.
The funeral prayers of the deceased were offered at Police Lines.
