Amn Jirga grieved over KP law minister’s assassination

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amn Jirga Chairman Syed Kamal Shahon Saturday expressed sorrow over the killing of Provincial Law Minister Sardar Israrullah Khan Gandapur and prayed to Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace. In a statement, he said thousands of Pakhtuns living on both sides of the Durand Line had been killed in the ongoing conflict over 30 years.

He said Jihadi culture was introduced in the Pakhtun-inhabited areas under a well-hatched conspiracy to use the Pakhtuns as fodder. He said international players used Pakhtuns for ulterior motives. Kamal Shah said political parties were also reluctant to tell the truth despite knowing the facts. He believed that Pakistan, Afghanistan, India and the US were the true stakeholders in this war and the conflict couldn’t be resolved unless these four countries held negotiations.
