PESHAWAR: An alleged kidnapper was killed in an encounter near Arbab Road as the police claimed to have recovered a kidnapped person Friday evening.
The police said the cops intercepted kidnappers, who had picked up a trader Azeem from Hayatabad, near the Arbab Road.
An encounter took place during which one of the kidnappers was killed while the kidnapped trader was safely recovered.
It must be noted that the kidnappers had demanded a ransom worth Rs2 million for the freedom of the businessman.
