ISLAMABAD: Local bodies election in Punjab are not possible on January 30 as issues of new delimitation and printing of ballot papers have become an impediment, sources in the Election Commission said on Wednesday.
The sources said that scrutiny of nomination papers would continue as per schedule. The Election Commission said that the Punjab government should contact the electoral body if it was not able to hold the elections.
