KARACHI: CID police claimed to have arrested three suspects, having links with Al-Qaeda, from Karachi, Geo News reported.
Inspector
CID Raja Omer Khattab said on Friday, the accused were involved in
killing of police men and people of Bohri Jamaat community. He said four
pistols, four hand grenade, explosive material and more than 30
detonators were recovered from the custody of the accused.
The
inspector further said the arrested Al-Qaeda men were students of
Karachi university, adding the media group of Qaeda had distributed its
literature in the varsity sometimes back.
Raja Khattab said Al-Qaeda network is present in the KU that included professors.
