Further 30-day sit-ins schedule issued by PTI
PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) sit-in blocking Nato supplies at Hayatabad Toll Plaza here continued for the 16th consecutive day today, while a schedule for carrying over the sit-ins for another 30-day has also been issued,
PTI activists under the leadership of member provincial assembly, Fazal Ellahi MPA started gathering as usual at the sit-in spot since morning and started checking the papers of the trailers, trucks and containers moving towards Afghanistan to block all those found carrying Nato supplies.
Meanwhile PTI district general secretary, Zaheer Mohmand yesterday issued a schedule for further 30-day sit-in, which envisages that the activists of 11 constituencies of Peshawar would stage sit-in for the 22 days out of the 30, while Nowshera, Mardan, Charsadda and Swabi workers 1 day each.
PTI Youth and ISF workers would also participate in the sit-ins, the schedule said.
