Government committee meets ahead of Taliban talks

ISLAMABAD: The government committee is meeting ahead of talks with the committee constituted by the Taliban

The government’s committee is deliberating on the formation of the Taliban’s committee and other matters.

The meeting is attended by Irfan Siddiqui, Major (retd) Aamir, Rahimullah Yousafzai and Rustam Shah Mohmand.

The committee formed by the government and Taliban will hold their first meeting in Islamabad at 2:00 PM on Tuesday.

The Taliban committee comprises Maulana Samiul Haq, Professor Ibraheem and Maulana Abdul Aziz.
