LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has announced to support Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate in the presidential election, rescheduled on July 30, Geo News reported.
This was announced by JI Amir Munawar Hassan here on Friday.
Hassan said Jamaat-e-Islami will support Justice (retd) Wajihuddin Ahmed, presidential nominee of PTI.
It may be noted that JI is a coalition partner of PTI in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial government.
