ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) submitted references
of the cases pertaining to the Oil and Gas Regulator Authority (OGRA) multi-million scam and the appointment of its former chairman Tauqir Sadiq in the accountability court.
NAB submitted the references after removing the objections raised by the Registrar Office during the earlier hearing.
During the hearing of the reference pertaining to the OGRA chairman appointment, the accountability court issued notices to all accused including former Prime Ministers Yousaf Raza Gilani Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and Tauqir Sadiq. The accused have been ordered to appear before the court on 18 February.
The court has also directed authorities to provide a copy of the reference to Tauqir Sadiq.
