Process of change has begun in KP: CM
HARIPUR: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was voted to power for the agenda of change and the process of change has begun in the province.
He expressed these views while addressing a public meeting in connection with the joining of known political personalities of Khanpur area Raja Ejaz Akhtar and Raja Qasim along with their hundreds of supporters in the PTI folds at Ayub Manzil during his visit to Haripur.
The chief minister said the aim of the PTI-led provincial government was not to make tall claims like rulers of the past and people themselves should acknowledge the good impacts of the steps taken by it for changing the old system.
He said the joining of new people into the PTI is ample proof of its better performance and growing popularity among people.
On the occasion, Raja Ejaz Akhtar and Raja Qasim appreciated the efforts of the provincial government for eradication of corruption and establishment of good governance in the province.
Pervez Khattak welcomed them into PTI fold and expressed the hope that they would support the provincial government in rooting out corruption and bringing fair, transparent and judicious system in the province as per expectations of people.
