ISLAMABAD: Maulana Abdul Aziz, member of the committee nominated by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and former cleric of Lal Masjid, has said that talks with government committee will take place today (Thursday), Geo News reported.
Talking to Geo News here Thursday, Maulana Aziz said government and Taliban committees’ meeting will take place at 2:00 PM today, adding the venue of the meeting would not be disclosed.
Maulana Abdul Aziz said Taliban wanted to have meeting with their nominated committee. He said they were deliberating to visit Waziristan or call Taliban near Peshawar for meeting.
He further said they could ask Taliban to provide their demands in written, however, the final decision in this regard would be made after meeting with government committee.
